Last week, our founder and CEO, Jen Romano, and Richard Cadan, Creative Director for Boom Photo Booth and Founder and Principal of Cadan Creative, attended the 27th Annual PAVE Gala in New York, a meaningful evening focused on design, mentorship, and the future of our industry. Richard has been a dedicated supporter of PAVE Global for over 20 years, contributing to its mission and impact within the design community.

What is PAVE Global?
PAVE — The Planning and Visual Education Partnership, founded in 1992, is an educational foundation connecting students, educators, and industry professionals to empower emerging design talent and build careers through mentorship, financial support, and industry exposure.
PAVE provides scholarships, aid, competitions, portfolio reviews, and mentorship, helping students in a variety of design fields connect with professionals and bridge the gap between academics and industry practice.
At the gala, educators, professionals, and students gathered to celebrate achievements, including awarding scholarships, showcasing outstanding student portfolios, and recognizing future leaders in design. The energy in the room was palpable as passionate creatives mingled and shared insights, emphasizing the impact of collaboration and mentorship in our industry.
